Thumbelina

We created all the 3D animated background elements for the CBeebies panto Thumbelina, the TV Christmas special staring a thumb-sized girl who tries to find out who she really is.

The environments consisted of a variety of underground rooms and tunnels and a bright oversized world of plants above the ground too. The children's’ favourite CBeebies presenters were all shot in full panto costume on green screen ready to be tracked and composited into their new CG environments.

We also produced and composited the 2D animated eyes and lips for the two thumb-sized hecklers.
